This app is so useless and pointless. Downloaded this until i got the replacement remote, but you need your remote in order to even work this app. So dumb, save your $3

You pay extra for a fire TV. With a remote slightly larger than an Apple remote, but black and the slick plastic constantly has it in the couch or chair cushions.UNLIKE Apple’s FREE remote via app, the fire remote app is free, but USAGE of the remote is an ANNUAL cost of $156.00. Assuming the price remains the same per week ($2.99/wk), it would be a sound financial decision to purchase an entire new TV (or maybe 2 TVs) simply to have a couple of spare remotes. Seriously, are people incapable of making prudent decisions any longer? Clearly whomever responsible for establishing the subscription cost is relying on the lack of mathematical education in today’s society!
  • A monthly charge to use a remote not worth $2

The app never worked, ever. I immediately deleted the app, it’s never been used, yet I was charged repeatedly. Horrible.
