  • Getting better

    By Lauramcenery
I first downloaded this app over a year ago and when I first started using it, it was frustratingly awful. It has improved quite a bit and is now useful, but could still improve.
  • Not the right choice

    By Wolfpina
I just got the app, and tried to go around identifying plants. It did not pick up any correctly and i fear it is not worth the purchase.
  • Disappointed

    By DWJ1155
Read & viewed all instructions. Tried in out on Honeysuckle, Juniper, mums, a seasonal pepper, River Birch an Lady Kim Lillac. Not one identified and half came back with error messages. Wrote support and waiting for a response. Had hoped to use it on a number of species in a wild flower garden and bordering state forest property. So far, it’s a bust.
  • No luck with it identifying anything correctly.

I hike a lot and wanted this for plant ID, never has accurately identified anything yet. Tried with an ornamental in my daughter’s yard - wrong answered five times before I gave up.
  • No on Premium

    By Bmmrgal
I purchased the premium thinking that it is more accurate, but 2/8 plants were accurate. Not worth the penny.
  • The best

Don’t mess around. This is the best!

I had high hopes for this APP. Unfortunately, 6 of the 8 trees, leaves, branches were given totally incorrect ID’s. The basic idea and design of the app is great and easy to use.
  • Love this app

    Great app
  • NOT user friendly

    By Munesous
This is easily the most frustrating app I have ever down-loaded. It is not easy to get good results. The name, ‘plant snap’ implies you just snap a picture and, poof, you find out what kind of plant it is. That is rarely true. The developers tell everyone with problems that they aren’t using it correctly and should contact the team for help. That is ridiculous! People acquire single-purpose apps for ease of use and do not want to spend a lot of time training on how to use them. Yes, I have followed their written instructions and still get very poor results. No, I will not spend more time by talking to them on the phone. Again, IOS single-purpose apps should not require training and hand-holding by a support team. If you, as a potential app user, are willing to go through training then it might be satisfactory. If you are like most people and expect it to just work, look elsewhere.
  • Very helpful.
