  • Unable to Update Blocklist

EDIT: After contacting Nomorobo support again, they were able to offer a solution to the blocklist update issue I had. It seems to be working as expected again. —— The app hasn’t been able to update its blocklist in over 50 days. I attempted to contact their support team for recommendations but haven’t received a response. When the app was working smoothly, it was great. But without the app’s ability to update the blocklist, many spam calls have come through and I receive a notification to update the blocklist every single morning, despite never actually being able to do so. If the developers fix the blocklist update issue, I’d more than happy to continue using the app. But until then, I plan on looking elsewhere for an alternative solution.

Tried the free version for a week. It did nothing to stop the barrage of open enrollment robocalls I’ve been getting. The interface is opaque, telling you nothing about the number of calls it’s blocked for you. And in a first, I got a spam text sex solicitation. Sending robocalls to your voicemail is simply stupid. Perhaps the paid version is better. Going back to Robokiller.

I have been using nomorobo about 10 days and works well. I just have to remember to not force quit it and restart it after an ios reboot. I also use it for two optimum voice house phones.

I continued to receive calls from spoofed caller IDs. I finally canceled the subscription.
  • Not blocking anything.

I was excited to try out this app. Even bought into the premium subscription. Unfortunately it wasn’t blocking any calls nor did it notify me of calls from known robocallers. It wasn’t until after the call came through and hung up (I don’t answe any calls from anyone not in my contact list) and I’d look the number up in Nomorobo did it tell me it was from a known robocaller. Helpful I suppose but it should have either blocked the call or shown it was from a robocaller as the call was coming in. Otherwise what’s the point. I checked the settings multiple times to make sure it was set up properly and checked the website’s help section / forum. Nothing helped.

Use to work for the first few months seems now I still get 5-10 spam calls a day that come through. Spend your money else where.

  • Blocks calls from delivery people

This app blocks calls from delivery people. Sends the call straight to a voicemail. If you like to have your packages delivered to your home and like to eat take out when it’s still warm I would not recommend this app. Apple will not issue a refund which seems unfair considering the app does not work as described.
